For folks complaining, VT is serious to be a competitive Power 2 playoff level school. (I dont know if they believe it).... FOr SEC schools from lowly arkansas to Texas, or most ot th Big 10, thats the expectation of the fan base AND it also includes separate donation for NIL. This is why football is stratified. THe power2 operate a type of business to compete for playoffs (and the remaining slots are being marginalized every year). IN the power 2, WHile some csn qualify for power 2, most just at a diffferent place, guess what they are being left behind. Now think the group if 5 schools, much less FCS. However, schools and fans from these lower echelons (need to quickly understand where they stand,, Their potential to compete in the national championship is limited , They should not expect their institution to win, and compete at national level. Its irrelevant to omplain about the coach and price of tickets, your school and your fans committment is limited.
