Not trying to take a shot at JW, but I saw him basically insinuating to you that Donati bears some responsibility for Beamer because he "could have slowed the Beamer extension down if he wanted to" since it technically was finalized a month after he got here. That's disingenuous at absolute best, man. That's simply not how this works. Are you honestly trying to say that the brand new AD, in his first month on the job, should walk into the office on Day 6 or Day 10 of his tenure and tell everyone involved that we're going to slow down the extension for the head football coach? Even if the timeline technically makes that hypothetical possible, it completely omits the reality of the situation, which is that new ADs don't derail extensions for coaches that were already in the works before their arrival on their first week. Period. Donati didn't know where the bathrooms in the building were yet, but you're laying blame on him for not throwing brakes on the Beamer extension? Ridiculous. JW loves Ray, not a secret. I respect that. But laying any blame for the Beamer debacle whatsoever on Donati is ludicrous. It is entirely on Ray Tanner.
