If he pans out he probably either stays until he retires or takes a bigger job. If he sucks we cut bait 3-4 years in and reevaluate. I see the urgency to nail this hire but I also think we’re in a whole new world. Instead of 4-5 year cycles we’re now in a 2-3 year cycle environment (in terms of roster building/portal talent. Who you have today matters more what they may or may not become in 3-4 years.
