On a separate note, I don’t get why people seemingly give Bowden a pass. He certainly did great with last year’s class but this talent deficit and failure of the team has to lie with him too. It is still unclear (at least to me) what input/role the gm truly has but how do you do such a poor job evaluating the roster. Also how do you hire a DC whose defense absolutely relies on great safety play and then look at what we have and your conclusion is yeah we’re good, let’s roll
