ONCE AGAIN this year we have 80+ new players. NO team is going to win big in the Big 12 with 80+ new guys year after year. And, please don't bring up the anomaly that is Indiana. And don't bring up OSU. Their coach brought 10+ KEY players with him to OSU including a future, EXPERIENCED NFL qb. To that last point, Hawkins is in the first half of a year not only as a starter in Rich's system but also as a starter anywhere. The issue now, IMO, is the defense. Once again, suffering from 11 new starters at WVU in a new system. Over reactions are why it's extremely important to have an administration that understands what I've just typed here. Listen to what Wren says. These first couple of years are about gaging progress. We need to see at minimum at break even year this year. A lot of money will be spent to return as many of this season's key performers as we can. With several returners next season, that year and years going forward will show us if Rich is going to succeed again at WVU.
