For the last 3 seasons, Fresno State has had that top football attendance of any G6 program. This year, we had 40,198 for Sac State and 39,001 for Rice to average 39,600. This places us in second among the G6 teams. Currently in first place is ECU with an average of 41,923 after 2 games. (40,074 vs App State and 43,772 vs NC-Central). The other teams I was looking at from the American are USF at 32,345 and Memphis at 30,840 both after 2 games. Fresno cannot reach the ECU average of 41,923, but I expect we will finish at least in the top 2 and can pass ECU to take the #1 spot if they don't sustain their attendance numbers. ECU's schedule coming hosts Rice, Temple, USF and FAU. With Boise and Oregon State, we have 2 of the biggest draw opportunities we can for attendance. CSU would finish the conference slate and the likely team for the Flex game would be SDSU. Can we sell out the last 4 games? If we do, I think we have a very good shot at keeping the non-P4 attendance crown for a fourth year in a row.
