KW lets the DB’s play off the LoS but doesn’t want the long balls burning us. It’s different than the man to man during the Saban years. CNS wanted the wr’s locked down from the line of scrimmage and tighter coverages. I get what you’re saying but it’s a different philosophy which gives up the shorter passes.
