Playoff berths are only lost in the first 4 games. Having watched over 60 seasons of college football I have learned to play them one play, one game at a time. You don’t want to be playing your best football in September. You want to be ascending as the season goes along. So I will continue to have every confidence in the coaching staff and team. USC managed to beat Rutgersvby a touchdown bouyed by a 100 yard interception return when the Rutgers QB missed an open receiver and had a bunch of turnovers. If IU wins Saturday night by one because Tutgers’ kicker doinks one off an owl at midnight I will be thrilled and the Hoosiers will be 5-0 whether you’re wringing your hands or not
