NFL Week 3
Summary
QB/LB: First, Dallas/Baltimore thoughts- Dallas losing that game the way they did was hilarious.
First, Dallas/Baltimore thoughts- Dallas losing that game the way they did was hilarious. First, they take an immediate timeout after the second-down play, for absolutely no good reason. Wait until there are 10 or less seconds left, you only have one more play before a potential FG attempt. Literally zero reason to call TO right away so there are 14 seconds left. Then Dak for no good reason immediately throws the ball away (it's like he panicked and threw it away before realizing that Pickens was actually open?). Only four seconds run off the clock. So now you have 10 second left, which was quite literally the maximum amount of time they could have left on the clock. Then, they purposefully kick it out of the endzone, so no return, no time off the clock. Then they give up the easy pass play. They had to do like four things shockingly wrong to lose that way. Amazing stuff.
As for JJ, I will never understand this trend of picking QB's in the first round who aren't game changing players in college. I never once watched Michigan play and thought, that guy is a stud first round type QB talent. I didn't understand it then, I don't understand it now.
