I don't know for sure if Beamer was ever asked whether or not Stewart had surgery in May or after. I know he said multiple times after last season that he wasn't going to have surgery, but that was immediately after the season and around spring practice. Maybe something changed later on, and we just never asked about it specifically, and it was never volunteered. We'll find out tomorrow.
