I can't imagine what TD was thinking when he pretty much forced a couple of our hires down at least two AD's throats and maybe one other. Those rumors are alive and well to many. I think Welch gets some say in things but he also dumps a lot of $$$ into our program so there's not much to argue. At least he wants USM to win which never seemed to be the top priority in the past with some "big donors" who appeared to want to win after their pockets were lined and/or when their cronies were hired in postions all over the place. Welch has been a larger donor for a couple of decades and called out some chit back 20 years ago. I like the guy because he gives big and because he understands how to get things done as a business owner. The more he can contribute from his experience standpoint, the more it helps the program.
