I just wish Sark would quit trying to force his scheme on this offense when he doesn’t have the players for it. Our line has proved it can’t protect Arch long enough for the slow developing routes, and our receivers have proved they can’t get separation on those plays anyway. We also aren’t a between-the-tackles rushing team. We are reasonably good at outside zone, but we need to commit to it. Arch needs a tempo scheme to be successful with quick hitters to the TEs and slot. I’m not really sure who our go-to slot guy is (Mosley?). And to actively discourage Arch from running to the point he threw two balls on consecutive drives after crossing the LOS is criminal. He’s 6’4”, 225 with speed and some wiggle. Let him run. Lastly, every DC in the conference knows when we’re running the tunnel-screeny thing to Wingo or Brown. Can we take that play off the menu?
