That is because all those programs you mentioned have university administration's who actually have pride in their sports/football programs. USC's administration seems very ambivalent towards this. They seem like if it isn't world class education then it is 2nd tier. Those programs actually have AD'S and GM'S who hold their coaches accountable to a higher degree. I am not sure about Jen, she seems handcuffed with the contract she inherited with Riley, and he talks a good game but can't seem to back it up, in the big games versus hard core competition. So, it will be interesting the rest of the season. I see at least 2 more losses and maybe 4. But I am very cynical these days. USC made their error when they didn't hire Orgeron on a 2 year contract back in the day. That could have put the program on a bit of a different trajectory.
