UI ran a 3-3 front a lot for several years, with Johnny Newton and Keith Randolph. Most teams play with 6 man boxes 50%+ of the time. I never liked that alignment against regular personnel. But I still think the problem this year is mostly personnel. They don't have really have any even average Big 10 DL this year. And a very meh LB group. So while Hauk deserved to go, I can't see them all of sudden being above average or really even average.
