My issue with this is the following:
If we saw growth from this team from year 1 to year 5 and growth from the head coach from year 1 to year 5 I’d have absolutely no issues in being patient, with that being said we are three DC’s in and the results on the field remain the same. We just hired one of the elite special teams coaches in the country and yet our special teams outside of Mosley has not been overly impressive. I am not going to sit here and pretend like Riley had every resource available to him, but at the end of the day the fundamental play on the field has not changed nor has it gotten drastically better. I am out on Riley because I don’t believe he has grown nor has the play on the field improved. I’d have patience if I thought there was reasonable believe we will start improving but I don’t believe it will.
