Please keep in mind our current strength of schedule as well when considering our running vs pass effectiveness. Our first two games were the best rated defenses on the schedule. Now we go up against defenses that are simply not as good. Mix that in with our guys getting better at the run and we should see more effectiveness from the run game. But I do agree with #2 at the helm, we are very comfortable throwing the ball around the yard and in key situations putting the success of the drive in his hands. Boise St is the only other Def on the schedule that ranks in the top 30. The others are 80-110 in national rankings. Lastly, I felt like Montana showed up wanting to load the box and stop the run. There db's did a decent job on the WR but we still were so effective at making plays in good coverage... we were able to just keep passing the ball.
