Great discussion and I see both sides. Drink has been better than some previous coaches but at the same time we are in year 7, are paying him somewhere around 12th in terms of coaching salaries, and supposedly are in the top 25 in terms of NIL spending. Drink has called out the fans to sell out the stadium, asked for and got a $250 million NEZ, and in the past three years has gone 11 wins, 10 wins, 8 wins, and while this year still needs to play out 5-7 or 6-6 is a real possibility. We see other teams turn programs around in one or two years--Indiana wins a national championship in year two after being in a much worse situation than M U is in now. Drink says progress in not linear and while true, the recent years show a downward trend. The M U fan base has responded to everything asked and has endured constant speculation about Drink looking at other jobs. I do not think it is unreasonable to expect much more out of Drink and the football program.
