Yes, that is 100% true. According to the major story in the Athletic about roster spending in FBS football the UW's current roster spending includes only about $6-10 million in NIL money. That is very low for a program that supposedly wants to contend for the CFP. It needs to increase very significantly for the UW to have any real shot at making the CFP.
