I was a student when John Robinson came back and there was a ton of excitement on Campus about it. My freshman year it came down to the winner of the USC UCLA game with advanced to the Rose Bowl. We ended up losing when our QB threw an interception into the end zone with less than a minute ago and just a couple of yards outside the end zone. For four years I saw us lose to UCLA every year and the highlight was breaking the losing streak against Notre Dame with a tie. Yes, a ******** tie. That’s how excited we were just to not lose against them. The one highlight was the Rose Bowl win against Northwestern, but that came on a year where we lost to UCLA we lost in Notre Dame and we tied Washington so it was hardly an awesome season. .Then came Hackett and all that other garbage. Somebody else said the same thing I got a chance to thank Pete Car for all that he did for us because Man, it was amazing.
