He’s really good at escaping the pocket and buying time for his receivers to get open downfield. I’ve watched all his games this year and he is as advertised. He is billed as a “dual-threat” and can make an aggressive defense pay if they don’t actually get him down but he’s always keeping his downfield and throws the deep ball as accurately as anyone I’ve seen in a long, long time. He and KR12 are very similar so it’s going to be a point-fest if the weather isn’t crazy. I haven’t seen either one in truly wet conditions so that could be the difference. They have a good RB and Lebby is a good, creative play caller. I like his offense, from what I’ve seen. Grubb is going to have to call his best game, imo. I have yet to see him call a complete game that is in rhythm, so that and our secondary this year make me nervous. As good as their starting offense is, our defense SHOULD more easily stop them that vice versa. This is one of those games that is going to be difficult BUT we definitely should be more talented and deeper when it comes down to it. This is where KD can begin to earn that raise and extension. Yes, they are good, but at the end of the day these are the games we should win. It’s still MSU and this is still the UA and we have the better horses for the courses. Gotta have this one. Can’t go into the GA game 4-1.
