The five offensive players who stood out most to me in Oregon's spring game
Summary
Brock Thomas outperformed depth chart expectations at Oregon spring game; height only limitation for Power Four role.
Good article. I agree with your picks and the only other offensive players that I would single out are Hampton at WR, and also Brock Thomas. You mentioned Brock in your portion on Raiola, but to me he was truly one of the standout performers of the day. I think back and remember so many people on this board saying things like “There is just no way that this walk on is truly QB2 on the depth chart” or “I refuse to accept that Thomas has actually outplayed Novosad in practices to earn the second string role” etc. After this scrimmage I am more convinced than ever that he probably was the better, more consistent performer, and that the coaches trusted him to win us games more than they trusted Novo. If he was four inches taller, I believe he’d be targeted to start for a major power four team somewhere.
