Thanks for posting the story and not just adding to the pinnned topic. I didn't see one on Dawes -- Sammy referenced the pinned link, but, for my skills, that was a mess to go through. I gave up and didn't find any discussion about Dawes leaving. I was disappointed to seen Dawes enter the portal. Maybe with some great acquisitions, we can keep him. I know that is part of the game now adays. Hayes had some good moments and showed potential, but was thrust into playing prematurely. His body and skill set were not ready for the load he had to bear. He doesn't have the physical strength to battle in the middle in the Big12. This is a very physical league and we got beat physically all year. I wish he would have stayed for depth (#3 or #4 at the 5 position). I wish Hayes ell. I'm very interested to see what Alex and staff can do in the portal.
