ACL Tears
Summary
ACL injury prevention training methods exist; recovery typically 6-9 months but some players return same season.
This is a bit off topic but: -> Anyone familiar with football knows that ACL tears typically end a season. They happen to all positions but it seems like RB's are expecially at risk. Does anybody know:
=> Is there anything training wise that can help prevent this injury? Any techniques that can be taught?
=> Is the recovery always 6-9 months? I recall Mark Brunel getting injured in the early 90's and made it back before the end of the season and bowl game.
