WSU post-spring analysis: RB depth proves impressive beyond ‘Cerberus'
Summary
WSU RB depth strong; no single stud but three capable backs handle tough yards, receiving, blocking—O-line key to rushing success.
Not much drop off (if any) from the top 3. And that’s not a knock on the starter. We don’t have a single stud RB. But what we do have is 3 very good RBs. And when one is substituted out, the D can’t sleep on the next one. Any one of them can get a tough yard, any one can bust off a 10-yarder or more. Any one of them can pass block. Any one of the can catch a pass out of the backfield.
As long as our OL holds up, we should have a very good rushing attack.
