Aaron Van Horn is trying to keep things simple for the linebackers
Summary
LB group talented with versatility at ILB/OLB; position versatility causes opposing offenses issues.
As an old DL coach, DL has always been the position I watch the most. But this LB group may well be the most fun position on the team to watch this season. We have some VERY talented kids in that room - at both ILB and OLB spots.
Many of the players in that room also have the ability to play multiple positions with equal effectiveness - and that versatility is going to cause opposing offenses BIG issues.
When you don't know where your blocking assignment has moved to, it causes hesitation; and that one thing you NEVER want during a play.
