ZA is running zone coverage roughly 80% of the time (Cover 2, 3, or 4). That gives him built-in blitz support, which fits his tendency to bring pressure. The mismatching of corners and safeties this year looks intentional based on what he’s trying to do. I’m not sure it’ll work, but I’d be a lot more concerned if he were relying on man coverage 80% of the time instead of zone.
