If we can be 4-0 heading into the Tennessee game then I think we could get to 8-4. The toughest of the first 4 games is Florida, but all are at home (except for Baylor which is neutral site but favors AU). We should be beating Baylor, post-Pavia Vandy, and Southern Miss. Florida game will be key. If we do that we need 4 more wins. Easiest 2 are Samford and Arkansas at home. We'd have no business losing those. Next easiest game is @ Mississippi State, but they were sneaky last year. That game will be tricky on the road. That means we need 1-2 more wins out of @ Tennessee, @ UGA, LSU, @ Ole Miss, @ Alabama Those game looks tough on paper but all of those teams have some questions with either new coach / new QB / underwhelming last season, etc. I think our best chance is if 1-2 of the following happen: Tennessee sucks, we can beat Kiffin in Year 1 in Jordan-Hare, Alabama continues to decline some. I think winning @ UGA and @ Ole Miss will be difficult. UGA still an elite program. I expect Ole Miss to decline post-Kiffin, but they have enough continuity with the roster and staff to remain competitive next year, especially with Chambliss back.
