I made it up to the game...here are my observations: Ton of WR and TE drops, right in there hands(good throws)...3 pages on this thread and only one small mention of this. I lost track after drop #6...like an epidemic. WR room is stacked. X Owens stood out...has Berrian body. QB's looked even(Mandel & Martin). Maybe a slight nod to Mandal, especially the designed QB run in the run zone. He was decisive...but it was like 2 hand touch on the qb's. #13 qb I think Chalmers couldn't handle the snaps. D line is impressive...Yeh, Xpera stood out. Early enrollee Baker looks like an upperclassman, he's a load. Center position had a few low snaps, which immediately disrupted play timing. TE Nixon looked good, good hands. K Watanabi barely missed wide rt on a 50 yarder, would've been good from 60. Both K's had great leg strength, not worried about FG game. Gillick, Chavez, Harris all hit the hole decisively but again tackling was throttled back. Harris seemed to have an extra gear to the corner. QB Martin has big time arm strength...made 40 yard throws look effortless. CB's looked like they added to their physiques, and were very disruptive. Coach JD is the man.
