This does not surprise me at all
Summary
Gunner bailed clean pockets and avoided zone windows; better QB anticipation downfield would've fixed Georgia's pass-game lack of explosiveness.
Well, his willingness to push the ball downfield and make anticipatory throws vs zone coverage, would’ve made a substantial difference because that was lacking from Georgia last year. Contrary to popular opinion of Mike Bobo, he had guys streaking wide open when you don’t watch the TV copy exclusively. We weren’t explosive in the pass game because Gunner was bailing clean pockets or reluctant to throw the football into zone windows. I like you but I vehemently disagree with this take.
