Surprising speed numbers for Tigers this Spring…
Summary
DJ Pickett ran 21.9 mph fastest; Ja'keem Jackson second; Phillip Wright third at 6'5"—exceptional speed.
Went on tour of football ops facilities and new portion and caught a glimpse of the performance board for weight lifting, speed, conditioning numbers of the team. Per what I saw, DJ Pickett was at the top running 21.9 mph. Ja’keem Jackson was second (didn’t expect that at all) just a few hundreds below and Phillip Wright was 3d at 20._, (can’t recall his exact number as it was rotating the screen and I had to move along.) Running like that at 6’5” is sick. I have no way of knowing if that ranking was for the final day, best of Spring or an average result. Nevertheless, it’s info we didn’t have, so I thought I would share. Maybe someone else knows what those big computer screen numbers represent. I saw rankings overall, per position, topics about hamstring performance, certain lifts, etc. flashed the screen too quickly for me to grasped more results off of it.
