I feel like the implication is she banged him so he gave her unethical access in her sales pursuits. Very prescription sales. But it is indeed unclear, normally in Ohio you'd assume it was a bribery thing, but that isn't mentioned so it seems less likely. Maybe they didn't even smash, maybe she's just younger and he was charmed and smitten and gave her too much access like a simp. Or maybe the whole thing was just a sponsorship type of quid pro quo found to be unethical... but I doubt it's just that, that's just business in Ohio (and other places).
