It seems like depth is a problem for most teams. The transfer portal has made it difficult for the elite teams to stack talent like they did previously. If a talented athlete hasn't gotten many snaps in his first two seasons at a program, he is likely to hit the portal seeking a place where he can get on the field (and maybe get more money too).
