So I asked Nick Saban about a Pat Narduzzi “quirk” today…
Summary
Narduzzi's ND loss inexcusable; poor OC handling lost both coordinator and QB; mediocre ceiling after 21 years.
Yea I hold the ND loss against him. And rightfully so. His ham handed handling of his OC cost him both his OC and his QB. He handled the situation like a dumb rank amateur and in the process screwed the team and the fans.
His teams play against OOC div. 1 competition is a major embarrassment…. he can barely stay competitive in these games until half time. Even Chryst and Wanny beat ND.
It would make little difference if Narduzzi had the talent Indiana had last year he’d still blow a minimum of 3 games because of one or more if the following reasons: the team wasn’t ready to play, hair brained in game decisions in critical situations hurt the team or his inflexible defensive scheme got burned by the same plays for 4 quarters. After 21 years it’s clear Narduzzi has a ceiling if mediocrity.
