And the wars begin in H.S. Football here in Syracuse
Summary
Philadelphia Catholic/private schools dominate regular season, win state playoffs in different classes—unfair system.
We have the same exact issue down in the Philadelphia area. The Philly Catholic and Privates play in their own league during the regular season, but then come state playoffs they play all of the Publics. And the kicker is, they all play in different classes come state playoffs. So you'll sometimes see a .500 Catholic league team win the State Championship at PA's Class B level and then the winner of the Catholic League win the AA equivalent. It's a mess.
