Collins wasted Rhule's talent, lost winnable games year 1-2, was bad hire with no local contacts.
He should have won 9+ games with the talent that Rhule left him. Coughed up the UConn and Army games in year 1 and didn’t have the team ready and prepared for week 1 & 2 in year 2. I’m not certain we would have beaten FIU if our D hadnt knocked their QB out of the game. He was another typical bad hire by TU. Had no contacts in our footprint and had no business being Rhule’s successor. He proved how much of a fraud he was once he got to GT.
