The last place I want to see a Temple Stadium
Summary
Temple needs on-campus stadium; school caved to 50 residents. Home-field advantage lost since 1970s wins over WVU/BC.
1) a school that has 12,500 students living on campus should have its own campus stadium (Pitt, USC and Temple are the only FBS ones I can find who don't); Miami only has 6.344 students who live on campus. 2) It's not going to happen in my lifetime. 3) Probably will happen 50+ years from now if a) football exists as a sport; b) Temple football still exists. 4) University caved to no more than 50 surrounding residents when it should have put its foot down (like it did with the building of the Apollo, which would honor Pete Liacouras more than naming it after him because he came up with the name) 5) It's a damn shame Temple football hasn't had a real homefield advantage since 39-36 and 34-7 wins over nationally ranked West Virginia and BC at Temple Stadium back in the 1970s. The only possible exception was the Penn State game (2015) when it was at least a 60/40 Temple crowd, maybe a 75/25. ND game was a 50/50 split at best. I was at both games.
