Just a quick note to say goodbye to the forum. I've been a member since 2015, but alas my run will come to an end. Not unlike Mack, I came into a good situation here on the board, a little timid and seeking sure footing. The community welcomed me in and I became more confident. I hit my stride about 2-3 years in, posting regularly and gaining great support from the board members. I peaked just about the time COVID hit, and like so many things COVID touched, my veracity declined. Complacency set in. The Stong-Herman... err.. COVID years had taken their toll. In recent years, my posts have declined, my involvement on the board limited more to lurking and liking than posting hot takes. And, again, not unlike Mack, my financial backer (aka wife) has told me she can no longer justify the expense of my remaining. So, it is with a heavy heart that I bid you adieu. My passion for Longhorns Football will never die. I'll be around, doing cameo hits on the guest boards... and who knows, maybe I'll pop up on the North Carolina board before realising I was always meant to be here (will keep an eye on those off-season $1 specials!). Until then, may your recruitments be filled with 5-Stars, briskets be moist, Saturdays be wins, and blood run Burnt Orange.
