The Insider (Part 1): Projecting Texas' offensive depth chart following spring football
Summary
Texas OL backups flexible; Baker slides to RT, Siani backs Goosby at LT, Bishop starting would be lottery win.
If someone goes down on the offensive line long term, the back up isn't always the next guy in line to start. Often there is a shuffle to get the best 5 guys out there at the same time. Goosby's real backup is Melvin Siani. He played LT. If Cojoe can't go at RT, you swing Baker back over. If jermaine bishop winds up starting? You just hit the lottery.
