Washington's Freshman Class Was The BIGGEST WINNER Of Spring Camp

Podcast Feed Transcript

Summary
### Top Actionable Intel - Washington's freshman class was described as the clear spring-camp winner, with multiple first-year players already looking like fall rotation pieces. - WR Trez Davis is the most actionable offensive skill note: outside of projected starters Dezmen Roebuck and Rashid Williams, he was called Washington's most consistent spring receiver. - LT Kodi Greene appears headed toward the starting left tackle job as a true freshman, with Colt Dietrich still working back from injury and limited in contact work. - RB Quaid Carr has created a real role question after a strong spring and a 65-yard touchdown run, especially with Jayden Limar and Trey Cooley returning from injuries and Jordan Washington's status uncertain. ### Team / Position Notes - WR: Davis' inside/outside versatility gives Jedd Fisch more ways to replace targets lost to graduation/portal, and he looks firmly in the two-deep by fall camp. - OL: Greene at LT, John Mills, Landen Hatchett, Champ Taulealea, and Enokk Vimahi give Washington a bigger Big Ten-looking front; Taulealea appears to have taken control at right guard. - RB: Carr, Brian Bonner, and Washington can all have roles, but snaps may be tight if Limar and Cooley return healthy. - DL: Derek Colman-Brusa needs more weight-room time but already looks playable; DeSean Watts and Darin Conley have answered spring questions as transfer DTs. - Front seven: Watts is the two-gap run defender; Conley is the gap-shooter/pass-rush DT; Zaydrius Rainey-Sale raises the defensive ceiling with inside/outside/nickel versatility now that he is healthy from the ACL. ### Schedule / Game Mentions - Purdue and UCLA were referenced from prior RB/OL usage; no opponent-specific 2026 pick was released. ### Market Relevance - This is strong depth-chart intel for Washington. The main betting takeaway is that young talent may upgrade the OL/WR/DL faster than expected, but RB health and fall-camp snap distribution still need confirmation.

We are part of the Locked on Podcast Network, the number one sports podcast network. And thank you to all you every day out there for joining me on this Thursday. We've got a really fun show coming out where I can't wait to dive into some of the top commits that Washington has on the offensive side of the ball and how that might shape up in the 20-27 class. That'll be a really fun exercise, but we'll get to that later on because I wanted to spend a whole bunch of time talking about all of the biggest winners from spring practice where there are a couple of guys that I want to get to later on. But by far, without a doubt, in my opinion, the freshman class were the stories of spring. And you every day I know this because we've talked about them several different times, pretty much every day on this year's show. And I want to talk about four guys in particular, but before we even dive into that, the one theme that you're going to hear with all of these guys that I'm sure you have throughout the spring is none of them looked out of place. And I think that's the most important thing because we know a lot of these guys are going to have significant roles this fall. And so the more I look at what this team is going to look like, I think that Trez Davis is one of these perfect encapsulations because we've talked a lot about Derek Coma-Bruza, Cody Green, guys who will obviously spoiler alert be mentioned very shortly. But I look at Trez Davis as somebody who, outside of Desmond Robuck and Rashid Williams, two guys who are pretty much penciling for starting jobs at this point in time, that Trez Davis was the most consistent wide receiver that Washington had throughout spring practice. And obviously there was some unfortunate injuries. Christian Moss hasn't been able to participate for most of camp. Bob Penn Miller has been in and out of the lineup as has Chris Lawson, Jordan Clay's missed the last week or two. But I look at Trez and I just, I see somebody who's going to play this year and play a lot because he's got that inside outside versatility that Jed Fish loves to be able to take advantage of in this offense. He's a really nice athlete, especially with the ball in his hands. And we've seen him be able to stretch the field deep. He's able to see him succeed at all three levels of the field. And most importantly, it hasn't mattered who he's going against because he's won reps against walk-ons. He's won reps against in annual carnally. And I think it's really fun to just watch what Trez can look like in this offense because it's not just like he's winning on pure athleticism. He understands some of the finer points of route running and how to create separation and how to just gain leverage while running routes. And I think that's a really fun thing to think about because the more you look at this offense, we've talked about this a lot. There are so many guys that could step up. And there are so many targets to go around with so many guys from last year that have either graduated or hit the transfer portal. So people are going to need to step up and take some of those targets. And I feel like Trez is a tremendous option, a Trez Men's option, I should say, shout out to his high school nickname to take a lot of those reps and those snaps that we saw Raiden Vines-Brite get last year who obviously transferred to Arizona State. And I think that that's one of those things where maybe he doesn't start like Raiden did, but he is going to be such a heavy part of this rotation in some way, shape, or form that by the time we get out for fall camp, I feel like he's going to be a guy that is going to just be firmly established at the very least in the too deep on the step chart. And speaking of guys that are firmly established, it's clear. Cody Green is going to be the left tackle for this team. Obviously, Colt Dietrich has been working his way back from an injury and he hasn't necessarily participated in a lot of contact drills, but it's, I really just have no other way to say it, but it's very obvious that Cody Green is going to be the starting left tackle for this team. And it's been another one of these themes on this show, right, that you've heard so often with Cody specifically is in the best way possible you don't notice him where when you just look at the offensive line walking around and you know you're not out there and you're not out there. You're not out there every day. You don't necessarily have all the names and numbers down. You look at number 76 and say, yeah, that looks like a big 10 offensive lineman at 6 foot 6, 315 pounds. He's holding up really well. He plays with great physicality. He understands footwork, he understands leverage. He understands so many of the finer points about playing offensive line. And then, wait, hold on, that kid's a true freshman who just enrolled two months ago. It's, that's the level of talent that Washington got with, obviously, one of the nation's top offensive linemen. The number one player in California in the 2026 cycle and just looking at how he is going to not stand out, I should say along this offensive line is a really exciting thought because you look at who the other four starters are going to be by the time the season rolls around in John Mills, a freshman all American right next to him, Lane and Hatchet Center, a veteran at that position. Another young guy with plenty of upside in chant Thalia Leah at Wright Guard who, just like John Mills is, or excuse me, just like Cody Green, is somebody who, you know, is going to be, in my opinion, going to his first full year as a starter. But you don't notice that because of the size and the physicality that he plays with. And then obviously a senior Indra as a party at Wright Tackle. When you put this group together, I believe it's going to be one of the four or five best units in the big 10. And to say that with a true freshman starting at left tackle is kind of hard to wrap your head around sometimes. But I think that that is just a level of talent that Washington has up front and specifically that Cody Green brings the table and how he complements every other guy on this offensive line. So I'm very curious to see how that's going to shape up by the time we get to the season because another guy who at the very least is going to be in the two needs on the depth chart is Derek Coleman-Bruzav, where again, it's all of these same things, right? 6'6", 295 pounds at this point in time. And if you're not out there every day and you're not keeping up with the roster, you're going to look at him and say, where that could come from? Is he, you know, a transfer from wherever because he's big, he's strong, he looks the part, he's very clearly getting after it on the interior? No, that's another one who just turned 18 on Tuesday. Like, these are some of these guys that normally five, ten years ago, even, you wouldn't see a whole lot of these guys making a major impact early on in their college careers. Because those guys just don't grow on trees in Washington, especially in the Chris Peterson era, wasn't getting a lot of players of that caliber to come in, especially to play early. So I look at what Derek is going to bring to the table because there were certainly several points this spring where he was very clearly adjusting after life at Kennedy Catholic, where as he said on the show that he was able to physically dominate everybody and run over a lot of the players in that league, but now facing John Mills, facing Champions Lillia, these guys that are 335, 340 pounds, obviously it's going to be a little bit different. But again, it's one of those things where when you see him out there, it's not like, oh yeah, that guy just isn't winning any reps, that guy isn't, you know, ready to play at this level. No, that's not the case at all. And that's one of the really fun things about the way this defensive line is shaping up because combining him with some of these other experienced talents, whether it be Deshawn Watts or Darren Conley, the two transfers we've seen the most of this spring, Elinius Davis, who this coaching staff has extremely high hopes for going into his junior season, or even some of the guys we haven't seen a whole lot of yet, where Omar Khan is somebody who's been in the mix. I really like what he brings to the table. Kai McLunden, the Mississippi State transfer who's still coming off a torn ACL. And even what a guy like Logan George, who's been in and out of the rotation with some injuries, might look like playing more snaps on the interior. J.D. Hill is another guy who I'm very curious to see what his rep might look like once he get here in the summer, but looking at what Derek does and how he rounds out this group, whatever his role might be going into the fall, it's very clear Washington is extremely excited about what another couple months in the weight room and just getting comfortable with the college level can do for him. But one more guy in that same vein that we talked about a lot on yesterday's show is Ramzak Fruen, where again, this is just one of those guys who physically looks the part at 6'4", 230 plus pounds, the speed, the explosiveness, the ability to get around blocks is so much fun to watch. And our good buddy Alex Katz and I talked about this on yesterday's show, there is going to be a spot for him in this rotation as a pass rusher in some way, shape or form. That room looks really deep right now. And there are a whole lot of questions about who might step up and just be that leading sack guy. And I don't know if Ramzak is going to be able to get to that level as a true freshman, but it's very clear that he's going to be able to do exactly what Ryan Walters wants him to do in this scheme right away as a true freshman. And that's do nothing more than wreak havoc. And that's just such an important part of all this because of what he is as an athlete as he continues to develop and grow in the defense and get bigger and stronger. There are going to be way more things for him to do at Washington, but right now you don't need him to do much more than that. And just looking at how Washington. What's the best way to get these guys in early and playing them? I think it's a really exciting thought to combine him with the rest of these young guys on the defensive line because T.I.M. Buckeyes is somebody who absolutely needs to be thrown into that ballpark as well because a lot like some of these other true freshmen, he's just looked the part and hasn't looked out of place despite playing against the high end Big Ten caliber offensive line. So thinking about what those guys can bring to the field this fall is really exciting but there are a couple other ones. Especially quade car that are absolutely winners from the spring. This is a job for Indeed sponsored jobs. It definitely wasn't just a freshman who showed out this spring and now let's talk about a couple of red shirt freshmen because I think that one person who just continued to show up every single day was quade car. And I could say for a couple of different reasons. Obviously the unfortunate injury to Jordan Washington and we'll see what his status looks like by the time fall camp rolls around thrust more work at him and Brian. I'm not the one who was the one and who won't know that. I'm not the one who was the one who won a time. I'm the one who created a game tomorrow, no. But I also think that Quade car was just the most consistent running back that we saw throughout Spring Practice. And one of the biggest things that goes along with that and I know I talked about this before is his willingness and physicality to step up and pass protect. I thought that that was something that was very, very important. just take the safe play and let somebody make a play for him with the ball in his hands. He did that with Quaid car I think more often than any other running back obviously because he took the most first team reps of any running back but I think that's something that needs to be noted in this case because Quaid is somebody this coaching staff is very clearly really excited about and it sounded like Jed Fish especially after the injury to Jonah Coleman last year was going to try to find some ways to work him in down the stretch but then obviously he started to hear it as ankle against Purdue and wasn't able to suit up the next week against UCLA so I think that this was a really big spring for Quaid car to just come in and show that he has an opportunity to steal some carries this year because you'll look at what that running back room looks like right now with or without Jordan Washington. You've got a pair of seniors that are becoming back from injuries this fall in Jayden Lamar and Trey Cooley and so I look at what Quaid can be in that room either way where I don't know if he's going to get a whole bunch of past protection reps. I feel like at the end of the day those are going to go to Jayden Lamar but that doesn't mean that there's not going to be several opportunities for him to work his way into the rotation and this is something that I'm still a little confused by to be honest with you and I'm going to be until we get to fall camp is the reps that running back are going to be a little weird. The reason I say that is because working both of these guys in off their various injuries where Trey Cooley obviously has been sidelined for the better part of two seasons now with some various injuries and obviously Jayden Lamar with the ankle thing as well. I think that Quaid and Brian Bonner and Jordan Washington can all have a role in this backfield in some capacity but at the end of the day there are only so many plays that Washington is going to run on a game and there are only so many snaps to go around for these guys and we haven't necessarily seen Jedfish really want to do things that involve putting two running backs on the field all that often. We saw it once or twice last year but I don't think that's going to be something that's going to be super common this year. So watching Quaid break out he had the 65-yard touchdown run on Tuesday has been really fun and I think that he has certainly cemented himself as a player to watch but I'm curious to see how he's going to continue building on that once we get to fall camp. Another guy who's absolutely just entrenched himself like I was talking about a few minutes ago was Chip Thalia Leah. I wanted to go a little bit more in depth on him specifically because you know again the surface level of being a red shirt freshman on this offensive line that has a whole bunch of talent has been really fun because he doesn't stand out and I mean that in a good way. It's just he is a brick wall in the middle of this offensive line and this is something we saw in the reps that he got last year especially where he got to play against Purdue. He got to play against UCLA and really just split reps right down the middle with gear and hatch it and again just didn't show up where he's just stonewalling his defender or the defensive tackle across from him I should say. Every single rep and I think that's a lot of fun to think about with this group in particular because you're going to have to find ways to establish this downhill run and game with whoever you think is going to be the power of the short yardage back in this room because there are several options for who that guy could wind up being and you're just going to have to do that by running up the gut and having John Mills and landed hatchet alongside of him along the interior is a lot of fun to think about because again those are guys especially landed who have played a lot of football John being so experienced and just playing so well as he did last season makes this unit so complete along the interior but with champ it's we've heard about this since the moment he signed the size the physicality it's the same traits and I keep saying them but it's because they're so important and because we have seen those things show up every single day and champ came into spring with a big opportunity because landed hatchet still recovering from the broken wrist so gear and hatchet was supposed to be the starting center and that gave champ an opportunity to just take that right guard spot and I think he's taking it and just absolutely run with it where I look at what gear and could provide as a seventh year senior at this point in time and I think that his best value is going to be just as a rotational guy along the interior where somebody's hurt and somebody needs a break it's not just he can play both guard spots but the fact that he can snap as well makes him so so valuable for the team this season I'm really curious to see how that's going to work out because it was very clear last year that Washington was going to try to find ways to get chant really on the field but I think as the year went on it was going to be a little bit easier for them and what they wanted to do with him developmentally to preserve his red shirt and I think we're going to start seeing why they did that this year and I'm very excited for that but let's hope sides of the ball here because I want to combine these two guys into one mention here and that's these transfer defensive tackles that we have seen a lot of into Sean Watson Darren Conley because there were questions about these guys coming in in terms of just the fit and the fact that they played at lower levels whether it be you know Darren Conley at Ball State or Deshawn Watson Sacramento State but I think both of those guys have answered every single question that I had ever seen about them whether it be on Twitter and the YouTube comments whatever else throughout the course of spring practice where Deshawn Watson is way more explosive than he gets credit for at his size and it's something where we've seen him make an impact on some of these past rushing plays but his ability as a two gap run defender to just hold his ground whether it be playing a true defensive tackle or a nose spot is a lot of fun to watch and again it lends to the athleticism the physicality there was a reason he was the highest graded run defender regardless of level in college football last season at Sacramento State by a pro football focus so I really like what he brings the table and I think that there are several different ways that we've already seen Washington try to get him on the field whether it be in the four down fronts in the five down looks and what he can do on any given rep in terms of both against the run and the past is very very fun and I don't think that he's going to be a guy who you know we're going to get to the end of the year and he's got three four five sacks to his name but he's just going to be one of those players that you feel the impact that he brings whenever he's out there and I would say the same about Darren Conley in the other way because wildegeon has proven to be that that high floor run defender that you're looking for in the middle of the defense I think Darren's ability to get after the quarterback has been a lot of fun to watch where he's a gap shooter he's somebody who can win in those one on one matchups that Ryan Walters is going to try to create for his defensive tackles when he goes to his five down looks up front and I think that Darren is somebody who with the size the explosiveness is able to do those things very very well but I do also think that he's a better run defender than he's getting credit for and in some of these looks where Washington is going to have a really fun somewhat deep rotation at defensive tackle that should be five six seven dudes rotating in between those two and three spots I really like what he brings the table and I think that he is somebody who we're going to be looking at the middle of the season by you know by the latest in my opinion and we're going to look back at what Ryan Walters said about him during the very first press conference before spring ball where he said yeah you know I look at a guy like this and I'm shocked he is two years of eligibility remaining because he is such a high level athlete and he is so impressive in a What are the things that you're going to ask him to do? And I think that in order for this defense, take a step forward, it's going to be because guys like Darren Conley stepped up and got after the quarterback. And one more guy I want to mention in the same vein where I felt like he was cheating a little bit because A, we've talked about him so much this spring, but B, we already know what kind of role he's going to have. I think Zajus Rainy-Saulay was a very, very big winner from the spring. And one of the reasons I say that is because this is his first camp at Washington. Because last spring, last fall, he wasn't able to participate at all while recovering from the ACL. And while that certainly gave him an opportunity to get right mentally and the coaching staff would talk at length about his ability to just learn the defense and get ingrained that way. Watching what he's able to do out there in practice is so much fun to watch because we've talked about it a lot. And this is why I felt like he was cheating between inside linebacker, outside linebacker, walking out and playing the nickel depending on what the call asks him to do. He's a great guy. He's someone who does all those things at a very, very high level. And listening to him talk about his Welcome to College football moment where he said that he was a run play and he got buried 15 yards back by an Illinois tight end was really fun because he talked about how that inspired him to get in the weight room and get up close to 240 pounds at this point in time. And when you look at him, he's just another one of those dudes who carries that weight very, very well. And no matter what role he's asked the point of this year, whether he starts, he's a great guy. Whether he's that third guy in the rotation behind Jacob Monoun X. Rial Xander, he is someone who very clearly, and I know I've said this before about several other guys, but it's very, very true him who raises the ceiling of this defense because of all of the different things that he's able to provide for you as a one defender as a defender dropping into coverage, which we saw last year or rushing the passer, whatever that might be. Zagreas can do that at a very, very high level. And now with a full healthy offices and under his belt, I can't wait to see that that's going to look like this fall. But Washington also has a whole bunch of other fun talent committed in the 2027 class. So let's look at how they might be able to continue to add to that. After Zach Albright's commitment the other day, this offensive class is getting full real, real quick because just to knock some things off the list here real, real fast, not take another quarterback. You've got one on Blake Raskoff. Maybe there's, you know, an opportunity for Caden Jones, the three star prospect at a Krenluthard High School down in Southern California, a little bit later in the cycle, depending on if Washington might feel that two quarterbacks are going to wind up leaving the room after the year. There are a whole lot of different ways that that could work out. So I would certainly expect one quarterback to transfer after this season, but that's a bridge we're going across at a different point in time. So real fast there. Jeremy Denshew is probably also going to be the only running back that Washington takes in this class. Again, same discussion of the Huskies are going to have a couple of guys leave that room at the end of the year because Trac Cooley will be out of eligibility. Jay Lamar will also be out of eligibility. But I look at that room at this point in time and unless somebody does decide to hit the transfer portal, which is certainly possible that that might happen in January that Washington will probably just stand pat with just the one in a Denshew who is just continuing to rise and might honestly wind up as a top 150 player in the nation by the time that signing day rolls around just from some things that I've heard, some things that I've seen regarding his status, just a big, strong, fast, physical running back. I really like where he's headed in terms of his development and Washington did such a tremendous job to close on him when they did. So I like where they're going there. Let's talk about wide receiver. We're actually no, let's talk about tight end for five seconds here because same thing. We talked a lot about Zach Hallbright, our bonus show. They're the day. Go check that one out if you haven't, but probably going to be the only tight end that Washington takes in this class. And one of the biggest reasons for that is you got to look to the future a little bit when you look at tight end right now because this is a room where every single guy has eligibility remaining for the 20, 27 season. So you can afford to take a guy like Zach who can be a developmental piece for you for a year or two as a high end athlete who's got a whole lot of room to add weight to his frame and potentially develop as a blocker before you want to throw him out there for, you know, any sort of extended reps because between that and the number one tight end in the country being just down the road at Eastside Catholic in Titan McNeil in the 2028 class between those two things. Washington seems pretty set with where they are at Titan at this point in time. So let's talk receiver because I'm going to spend a whole bunch of time on the offensive line here. I look at this class right now. You got a pair of four stars and Braylon Pope and Derek Sidney. That's an awesome start. Those were the two first guys that you had committed in this class and Kevin Cummings has done a tremendous job there. And we've talked about some of these other guys at length recently, right? Whether it be Dante Tyson who looks like he's down to Washington, Texas, and M. But Washington is in a very interesting spot with him because you got to look at top 50 prospect Osani Gales and the fact that the Huskies are still in that top group form. And they've certainly made a big push where I still think they're a step behind some of his favorites where he's got official visits set up with Alabama, USC, Tennessee, but I think the Huskies are doing a very good job of hanging around for him and are going to continue to do so until signing day. And I would say the exact same thing about Trey Moore who was on campus for an unofficial visit last week. And if somebody this coaching staff has prioritized for a very, very, very long time and the longer his recruitment plays out, the more I feel like the Huskies do have a very solid chance at securing his commitment following. He's got the official visit to LSU that he's just coming off of. And then Miami, Texas, and Texas, and M. Which certainly are not going to be easy programs to be formed by any search, the imagination. But Kevin Cummings has really done a nice job of getting his foot in the door. So that brings us to the big discussion here. And that's the offensive line because I mentioned to John Yarbrough on that Zach Albright bonus show since then he has released his top five of Florida State, Cal, Rutgers, Mississippi State, Washington, very interesting five. And I feel like the Huskies are in a great spot there where they've got the final official visit for him. He's going to be announcing his commitment on June 27th. I think that Washington might be the team to beat right now in my opinion and just from some things that I've heard regarding his recruitment. So that's one guy where I look at the interior and things can shape up in a lot of ways because there are now four guys where for a long time or five I should say because for a long time there were four names along the interior. It was Yarbrough. It's Jacob Doyle, Lincoln Maggio and then Reese Russell who's in a slightly separate boat just because he's a true center. But those are the four guys along the interior for a while. I think Washington has done a very good job with both Doyle and Maggio as well. And those are names that I'm just going to continue to watch throughout this process because I think that especially Jacoba being the local guy, the four star prospect at a Puyallup High School, I think that Washington is going to continue pushing for him especially to just continue to add that in state. Push that they've made over the last couple of classes and obviously have done a tremendous job so far in 2027 with the commitments of Zach Albright and Braylon Pope. And now you got Maurice Williams as well on top of a crystal ball for four star defensive tackle to Vida Nodu, which we're going to talk a lot about on tomorrow's show. So make sure you stay tuned for that. But I look at where Washington is going on the interior of the offensive line. And I think if you take two of those three guys that are those, you know, more guard prospects on the interior that you're in a really good spot. However, where I'm interested to see what happens is at center because I'm not ruling out Washington taking just one in this class anymore. And part of that is because of Tristan Dair coming available. And I've kind of looked at center throughout spring practice. And it's a lot of guys that Washington has been teaching the position. That's not a bad thing by any such a imagination, especially when you have a senior in lane and hatchet and then a backup in here and hatchet who absolutely has some experience at the position as well. But I think Washington might be looking at taking reinforcements this year because Reese Russell has been their guy on the interior for so, so long. But now that Tristan Dair is decommitted from Michigan, he was on campus for an unofficial visit a few weeks ago for spring practice. That's another guy where Washington is in the process of setting up an official visit with him. And if he does want to want to wind up on Montlake, I feel like the Huskies are going to say, yes, we absolutely have a spot to make that work for a big strong prospect at a Southlake Carroll High School down in Texas. So I look at that group of guys and I think that any three Washington would be more than happy with. But if you want to take a fourth guy and you want to just continue to add that depth at center, that's something that I think you should be keeping a very close eye on as official visits start to come to fruition as spring practice winds down. But with that being said, let's talk tackle because there's the big name. It's five star offensive tackle, Alois de Malori, Olabobola, who I continue to hear that Washington is really pushing hard to set up an official visit with him. And it sounds like the coaching staff feels very good about doing so. At this point in time, his camp has been very, very quiet. There's just not a lot out there about Olu when you go and you look around about what he might be feeling, what might be going on. But all of the reports have stated that the Huskies are still firmly in the mix and that's things that I've heard as well. So until he commits somewhere else, which let's be real, is the most likely option. I'm going to sit here and I'm still going to talk about him. Because I feel like the Huskies have done a very, very good job of getting a foot in the door and starting to put themselves in the race forum. And if by some miracle they are able to get a commitment from him, that would be one of the biggest, if not probably the single biggest of the Jedfish era. Because going and getting that kid out of New Jersey, Cody Green, Derek Coleman-Bruza, all these other guys that Washington has gotten over the last couple of classes are massive wins. But the ties to Washington are a whole lot stronger. Certainly something to consider when talking about that kind of thing. But that's a discussion that we'll have on a different day. Because there are two other tackles that I want to talk about. One of them is Ty Kennedy, the three-star offensive lineman at a Mountain View High School in Arizona. Obviously the son of Lincoln Kennedy. He's somebody who I think Washington is just going to continue to hang around for. And as somebody where if we get to June 19th and he's on campus, I would bet that he winds up with the Huskies to play for his dad's alma mater. He's talked about being a Husky fan and some other interviews. And I think that's one thing that I'm going to talk about. I'm going to talk about him with him. So that's one name I'm keeping an eye on. And the other one I know I've talked about him before on this show is quickly rising four-star offensive tackle. We're Sean Lavatai from Curtis High School down at Tacoma. This is a guy where the more I look at how his recruitment is shaped up just being such a late riser. Washington has a great opportunity to move in here. I feel like they're going to work very quickly to set up an official visit with him for some point over the summer. And I think this is one of those guys where Washington would absolutely love to take a look at what he's doing. And I think he's going to take him because just another guy like Zach Albright, like some of these other ones where you don't need to worry about playing him for a year, two years. And he can get bigger, get stronger. He's just said six foot six and 265 pounds at this point in time. But you give him a year, two years with Tyler Owens and this Husky Strength staff which has done such a tremendous job of adding good weight to this entire roster. And that would be considered a major steal at the end of the day with just how late he's risen in this process. But that's all I got for you today. Thank you so much for tuning in.
