In your mind, what constitutes a successful season for Murray?
Summary
Injury: I just think it's a different world and no matter how hard anyone tries to look at it through the lens of the last four years, it is hard.

We’re starting from absolute rock bottom. ... show more I just think it's a different world and no matter how hard anyone tries to look at it through the lens of the last four years, it is hard. Rock bottom in 2026 is just different than any other year prior. You'd love every signee. You'd get a lot of transfers. The only spring players you signed were, maybe, one decent guy from a school that also had it's coach fired and then spaghetti against the wall from outside the top 250. And then you would go play against a bunch of teams that had sometimes their entire team coming back. A bunch of guys who knew the offense, knew the defense, knew what the coach wanted out of practice. Was LM a behind when hired? 100%. It's just a much smaller gap. And that gap is smaller with eight more at large teams. A lot of this is also because I really love the roster he put together. So, if you miss the tournament (again, injuries aside), it probably will come with some level of disappointment in a skill set we project LM to be good or better at. Talent evaluation. Installing a real offense. Like I said, it could be something that's tough on a new coach and I suspect he will figure that out in time. Managing the rotation/minutes. Figuring out being a head guy and making good in game decisions/adjustments. This isn't a blue blood budget but it's not a shoestring one that we are used to. Are they any good? We'll see. But it has the profile, compared to the last four years of a team that can make the tournament.
