After reading the article, I have to give a shout out to author Lee Ann Herring-Olvdeo. Well written piece. Too good for a sports profile. Texas A&M, by inference, does not fare well in the piece on developing Weigman. You have to wonder why Weigman’s mechanics were not correct while at Texas A&M. His QB coaches were Dameyune Craig, Bobby Petrino, and Collin Klein. In fairness to Petrino, who was QB coach in 2023, Weigman started 4 games in 2023, and then had a season ending foot injury. Weigman’s college football journey has had its ups and downs. He now has a coach that beleives in him. I think Weigman’s best is yet to come.
