NDs 2026 schedule by 2025 final F+ rankings
Summary
F+ baseline imperfect but useful; SP+ projections will be similar since they heavily weight prior-season production despite roster turnover exceptions.
Rocket2381 said... (original post) The way rosters change from year-to-year, I don't think this type of analysis is worth a whole heck of a lot (no offense). I agree with the over... show more yes the transfer portal has made rosters way more dynamic and with teams changing their strategy/investing more in the roster, things are capable of swinging drastically from team-quality standpoint from one year to the next, but those "drastic" team-turnover situations are the exception and not the rule. when the SP+ preseason projections come out we'll know for sure how teams aare stacking up (because these projections incorporate the roster turnover). I was just using last season's F+ as a general baseline so we get some idea. even when the projections come out they consist heavily of a team's production from the previous season so im not expecting it to look too different from the rankings provided here. TLDR: You bring up a fair point, but this analysis gives us a decent idea of what to expect of team quality next season (albeit an imperfect idea)
