Too many good quarterbacks to pick 4 LOL... USC will go as its defense goes.. With even an average defense during Riley's tenure it would have 10 to 12 more victories and made the playoffs or at least high quality bowls.. Maiava will need to avoid mistakes and protect the ball.. Most of all, I am concerned about the defense... Linebacker play was terrible... Not sure if the returnees have the talent... Freshmen are freshmen and the current college landscape seems focused on transfers. Most of whom are very good... I will be optimistic..but Riley has lost so many winnable games, several embaracing like 2 of last 3 bowl games. In looking at the Big Ten, USC is not matching up physically even with the lower level teams...Embarrassing loses Illinois and Rugers are inexcusable for a team trying to compete in the Big Ten..
