I’ll try to make a football comparison, though it may have flaws - so don’t get triggered please. Eli Manning won 2 super bowls and I think was MVP of both. He was clutch in both. However, no one would ever argue that he is a better QB than Marino. Christa and Cat were both objectively better pitchers than Kavan. It’s just not debatable. That said - Kavan is a total clutch player in the moments that matter most and were so lucky to have her as a true Longhorn Legend. She’s without question an all time Longhorn great, but the other two I mention were Olympians and the undisputed best pitchers in the country over their careers. It’s awesome we got to have all 3 come through this program.
