Pete Thamel reporting TCU has extended Sonny Dykes’ contract
Summary
Dykes has NC game, back-to-back 9-win seasons; few player upgrades away from 10-12 win seasons.
We could have way worse. The guy has a NC championship game and back-to-back 9-win seasons, bowl wins. He has made some staff upgrades, new offensive and defensive systems, and hopefully player upgrades.
He is a handful of player bumbles from having B2B 10-12 win seasons.
I am OK with Dykes for now, to have that stability and see if he can get us back into the playoffs, conference title game.
