Summary
- Missouri's schedule is not viewed as loaded with dangerous passing offenses, with Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Kansas, Troy, and Mississippi State specifically framed as less concerning matchups through the air.
- The harder coverage tests are Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and potentially Florida with Eric Singleton, while Kentucky and Arkansas are treated as wait-and-see because of new or uncertain offensive setups.
- Missouri's CB2 spot is a key swing position; the host expects someone from Galileo Florence, Cameron Keys, Jackson Gates, Nick Delo, or another option to step in opposite the top corner.
- The floor/ceiling discussion centers on transfer additions at defensive line and cornerback, with Simpson and Graves singled out as players who can materially affect the defense.
