Joel Klatt’s post spring top 25
Summary
Outdated stereotypes about Iowa offense/defense ignore current reality; Oregon not immune to cold-weather conditions.
It's amusing how people continue to define a team by a simplistic stereotype that's either outdated or completely wrong. It was comical last fall how many were saying a cold rainy game would benefit Iowa as if 1. Oregon never plays in cold rainy weather and 2. They were some kind of delicate group of sprinters who couldn't block and tackle despite being in the Top 15 in defense and rushing at the time.
We saw that same thing with cracks about Iowa's offense. They continue no matter the current reality
