Summary
- Iowa's defensive-back room returns DeShawn Lee and Rashad Godfrey, with Jacob Wallace viewed as the next option behind them. That returning depth could make it difficult for Darien Jones to break into the rotation immediately, though the panel still sees a possible role for him.
- The roster includes several talented redshirt freshmen who could contribute in 2026. Australian freshman punter Boston Everett is specifically identified as a candidate to earn playing time.
