IOWA #1 in the Nation when it comes to player retention
Summary
Iowa replaced injured Jestin Jacobs with Jackson (productive two years); high retention means fewer portal additions but Iowa addressed DBs, DL, WR well this year.
Jestin Jacobs but we replaced with Jackson which turned out great for Iowa for how productive he was for 2 years and Jacobs was injured often with Oregon.
Thing with portal people will complain about lack of additions or point to a team bringing in all these guys. 2 factors are one how many guys are you losing. If retention is high like Iowa then you probably aren’t bringing in a ton and two where are you filling the voids? Feel like for most part Iowa has done pretty good. Least this year I really like how we addressed DBs, DL and Wr.
