TCU football gearing up for pivotal Saturday scrimmage as camp intensifies Steven Johnson TCU football is hitting a pivotal stretch of fall camp with Saturday scheduled to be the first scrimmage for the Horned Frogs. TCU has had multiple full-padded practices and some game simulation periods this week, but nothing like what is expected on Saturday when the players will be tasked with using everything they’ve learned through the summer and camp to make an impact. “We’ll do some live stuff tomorrow and some situational work,” head coach Sonny Dykes said Friday. “We’ll get the coaches off the field and just work on communication. We’ll do everything we can to create as many game-like situations as possible just to get our players comfortable playing football and understand the importance of those situations. We’ll do a lot of that tomorrow.” FWST link: https://www.star-telegram.com/sports/college/big-12/texas-christian-university/article316765683.html Alternate link: https://www.newsbreak.com/fort-wort...ivotal-saturday-scrimmage-as-camp-intensifies
